Jody Lynch

Jody brings 30 years of elite military leadership, special operations expertise, and strategic growth consulting to Edmonds Strategic Group. He delivers high-impact business development and customer engagement support to defense technology clients, focusing on special operations, joint force integration, and emerging defense technologies. His 30-year Marine Corps career featured 15 years in Special Operations, culminating as Deputy Commander of Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and Commander of the Marine Raider Regiment. In these roles, he directed force generation, technology evaluation, and global combat readiness. As Commander of CJSOTF–Operation Inherent Resolve, Jody led U.S. and coalition special operations forces across Iraq and Syria. He also commanded 1st Marine Raider Battalion in Afghanistan and served on the Joint Staff, overseeing high-priority global operations requiring Presidential or SECDEF approval. In the private sector, Jody is the Founder and CEO of Southern Cross Solutions, advising clients on procurement pathways, product validation, and technology scaling. A National War College graduate, Jody leverages deep relationships across SOCOM, MARSOC, the Joint Staff, and interagency partners to help clients capture strategic growth opportunities.
